Pointe Coupee Chamber of Commerce Elects New Board Members

NEW ROADS, LA – The Greater Pointe Coupee Chamber of Commerce announces new board members elected to serve on its board of directors.  President Brian Adams welcomes the new members that will be serving beginning in January 2010. 

The newly elected board members are:

Mr. Jimmy Laurent, the owner of Global Data Systems in New Roads.  Mr. Laurent is also a candidate for the assessor’s office of Pointe Coupee and Chairman of the parish planning and zoning committee,

Ms. Mary Ann Pourciau, a Vice-President and Director of Marketing and Human Resources with Guaranty Bank in New Roads, and

Ms. Kelly Smith, the owner of Kelly’s Cajun Meats in New Roads, which retails locally and wholesales high quality meats to restaurants regionally.

The Chamber of Commerce also congratulates Ms. Alecisa Matte, Human Resource Officer and Marketing Director with Peoples Bank in New Roads, on being reelected to the board to serve another term and thanks Alecisa for her dedicated service.
