Gov. Jindal's "Building a Better LA for Our Children" Tour Stops in Pointe Coupee Parish

New Roads, LA – Governor Bobby Jindal’s 2010 parish tour – "Building a Better LA for Our Children” – will visit Pointe Coupee Parish Wednesday, October 13^th at 4 pm at the Cottonport Community Center, located at 208 E. Main Street in New Roads.  Governor Jindal will be welcomed by President Amy Davis of the Greater Pointe Coupee Chamber of Commerce, parish President Melanie Beuche, Sheriff Bud Torres, and other parish leaders.  Governor Jindal will highlight the significant progress his administration has made to create a New Louisiana that is the best place in the world to raise a family, get a great education and pursue a rewarding career.
