Pointe Coupee is moving ahead with a nine-parish joint effort to solicit film production in the area. Each of the nine parishes is compiling the information below. Take some time to look through this list of jobs, services and retail required by the film industry.

Pass this list along to as many people as possible. Print it out and write next to each listing people that come to mind. Pointe Coupee has many assets, one of which is its people. We need an on-going list of these talented folks and sites. Think outside of the box on these lists. (1) Inventory of buildings and sites for filming (start with a list of places that have already been used or that might be suitable such as vacant stores and warehouses, add descriptions, contact and photos)
(2) Census of production personnel (experienced, beginners, potential trainees)
(3) Survey of services available for production (vendors, suppliers, services)
